We host a variety of events designed to address key issues in education today and to help assessment professionals keep up to date with the latest thinking in educational assessment.  Our assessment experts often speak at externally-hosted events in order to share the Group's extensive knowledge and expertise.

Introduction to Rasch

Description:

A brief review of the mathematical concepts needed to understand Rasch models, plus an introduction to the latent trait theory and the Rasch model for dichotomous items. Main topics include: the link between measurement theory and the Rasch model, Item Characteristic Curves (ICCs), and analysing the fit of the date to the model.

Fee: Free to University of Cambridge staff and students, £30 for other participants
