Access to the Archives

The archives are accessible via lists or catalogues and enquirers are asked to contact archives staff in the first instance if they wish to access the archives.

Spires of Cambridge College - Archives

The archives are located at the Cambridge Assessment Offices in Cambridge. Archives staff can carry out searches for brief enquiries but for more detailed information enquirers are encouraged to visit the archives.

Photocopies may be supplied at the archivists’ discretion, depending on the condition of the document and copyright restrictions, and are charged at 40p per A4 page.

The reading room contains some material such as past question papers from 1951 to date and annual reports and statistics. Past publications (syllabuses, question papers and examiners reports) from 1990 onwards are available for study in the reading room on microfilm. Copies may be made for 40p per page.

Researchers are expected to follow reading room regulations and will be supervised at all times.

Anyone wishing to visit the archives needs to write in with details of their project or area of research and pre book a date and time with Archives staff. Researchers can be accommodated most working days between 9am and 4pm.
