Cambridge Assessment will be sponsoring the 23rd Annual UCAS Admissions Conference, which will be held in Newport, South Wales.

The theme of this year’s conference will look into the policy with regards to how equality is impacting the Higher Education sector in the UK. The conference will also have a line-up of activities scheduled throughout the three days, there we will be plenary sessions discussing the conference themes, business sessions which will have an overview of the confirmation and clearing process, and a range of topical and interactive breakout sessions, which are led by colleagues from across the sector.

Across the Cambridge Assessment Group we work closely with the Higher Education sector to ensure the qualifications of our awarding bodies design, develop and manage meet the needs of our learners, the institutions they want to apply for and the career paths they want to follow. The work of the Group supports our awarding bodies through extensive education and assessment research and the development of the Cambridge Assessment Higher Education Consultative Forum, which has been a key player in influencing government policy on A Level development.


This year Cambridge Assessment will be represented by all four of its awarding bodies, Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing, Cambridge English Language Assessment, Cambridge International Examinations and Oxford Cambridge and RSA. They will be exhibiting at the conference and you can visit them to find out more about their qualifications at stands 1 to 4.

The conference has an exciting line-up of key-note speakers and workshop speakers delivering invaluable information to assist with the students’ progression routes in the Higher Education. We look forward to hearing from colleagues from OCR and Cambridge International Examinations delivering workshops thatexplore the opportunities presented by their qualifications. They are:
