Celebrating a decade of knowledge sharing

03 June 2015

A study programme which brings together assessment professionals from around the world is celebrating its tenth anniversary.

To date, the Cambridge International Study Programme has welcomed more than 200 delegates from 28 countries to share best practice in the development and administration of public exams.

The anniversary was celebrated with delegates and guests in the setting of Madingley Hall in Cambridge.

The two-week residential course is designed to give participants a comprehensive overview of the processes and issues involved in the design and delivery of valid examinations.

The course curriculum covers the key principles of assessment - validity, reliability, impact, and practicality - and looks at all aspects of the work of an awarding body, in national and international contexts.

Watch the video above to see what previous course participants and contributors had to say about the programme and view course photos on Flickr.

I have picked up lessons from both the presenters and participants which I feel should be included in my recommendation report for my organisation to consider adapting."
