OCR is a leading UK awarding body, providing general and vocational qualifications to equip learners with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their full potential.

Over 13,000 centres choose the A Levels, GCSEs and vocational qualifications we offer, such as Cambridge Nationals, Cambridge Technicals and Cambridge Progression qualifications. We develop these qualifications in close consultation with teachers, industry leaders and government to ensure they are relevant for learners today and meet requirements set by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation).

In supporting providers to deliver our qualifications we ensure they have access to professional training, support materials, publications, telephone contact with OCR advisors as well as online access to guidance at our websites.

As part of Cambridge Assessment, a department of the University of Cambridge, we are a not-for-profit organisation, so our success is measured through the impact and reach of our activities and the scale of our contribution in helping learners realise their aspirations. We also have access to unrivalled expertise and research capability across assessment and examinations.
