On your first day please report to Reception who will issue you with your photo access badge; this will allow access into the area that you work in. Please be advised that your badge should be kept visible on you at all times.

Personal Belongings:

Strictly no electronic communication/camera enabled storage devices are allowed into the warehouse at DC10 this includes, but is not restricted to; mobile phones, iPads, iPods, cameras and laptops. Any such items must be left in the mobile lockers before entering the secure Warehouse. These lockers are coin operated by a refundable £1 coin.

There are standard key operated lockers available for bags and belongings, and bike lockers to accommodate cyclist helmets. If you have requested a locker key this will be issued to you on your first day. Personal items can be left in vehicles onsite but please be advised that they are left at the owner’s risk.

Anyone entering the warehouse is required to wear safety footwear and a Hi Viz vest at all times. These will be allocated to you on arrival.

DC10 has a staff restaurant which provides breakfast from 07:30 to 11:00. At lunchtime, you can buy a hot meal from 12:00 to 14:00 and you can also choose from a large selection of sandwiches and other snacks. The restaurant is open from 7.15am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

We operate a Cashless Catering system across the Estate and Cambridge Assessment staff are required to top up their access card with funds to be able to purchase items from any of our outlets. The top up can be done via loaders located in each building. You will be given an access card within your first few days with us, and will be able to request a guest card until this time.

In addition to the restaurant you will find vending machines and water dispensers in each department at DC10.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on site, except within the 3 designated smoking huts. These are located directly ahead of the gatehouse, near car park C, and near the Cambridge English staff entrance.

E-cigarettes are not permitted in any buildings on site but may be used in external areas.
