Group Director of Information Services
Bruno joined Cambridge Assessment in 2010 to help navigate significant changes in the way assessment is delivered, using technology to gain a competitive advantage.
Bruno was group CIO for Europe's second largest steel manufacturer, Corus, between 2004 and 2010, leading a major business transformation programme based on SAP technology. This also included a move to a multi-sourcing strategy. When Corus was acquired by Tata Steel of India, Bruno played a major role in the associated integration work.
Bruno graduated from École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris before embarking on a varied career, starting at France telecom. Bruno then moved to ST Microelectronics where he became European IT director before taking up a similar role with Motorola in France and Switzerland. Bruno subsequently took up the CIO position with aluminium manufacturer Pechinery – now part of Rio Tinto – in the US.
Bruno has been named on the CIO50 list so far on three occasions.
