Since joining Cambridge Assessment as a researcher in 2016, I have worked for OCR, Cambridge International and finally joined ARD in 2019. This means I have been able to get involved in a wide variety of research, including the assessment of practical science skills, predictive validity of International AS and A levels at an American university, and vocational qualifications.
My background is in statistical modelling and study design, having previously been a researcher in evolutionary biology. I completed my BSc in Biology and MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation at the University of Leeds. I then went on to complete a PhD at the University of Edinburgh, studying the evolution of social behaviour (in animals), which I followed on in my postdoctoral research at the University of Helsinki in Finland.
Outside of work, I enjoy sport (running, Pilates, swimming), getting outdoors and reading.
