Cambridge Assessment
The University’s international exams group designing and delivering assessments to over 8 million learners in over 170 countries. We are committed to ensuring that all our assessments are fair, have sound ethical underpinning, and operate according to the highest technical standards. Our organisation is not-for-profit.
We develop and deliver examinations and tests around the world through our three exam boards. We also provide research and consultancy services in a range of associated disciplines and we have a comprehensive calendar of events and seminars which you are welcome to attend.
Our activity is largely described in two categories; delivering assessment and influencing thinking.
As well as our Assessment Research Division, two of our exam boards are closely involved with the development of Cambridge Mathematics:
Cambridge International Examinations - which prepare school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. Their international qualifications are recognised by the world's best universities and employers, giving students a wide range of options in their education and career. As a not-for-profit organisation, they devote our resources to delivering high-quality educational programmes that unlock learners' potential.
Oxford, Cambridge and RSA (OCR) - is a leading UK awarding body, providing a wide range of qualifications to meet the needs of all ages and abilities. OCR qualifications include AS and A Levels, GCSEs, Cambridge Nationals, Cambridge Technicals, Entry Level qualifications, and vocational qualifications in areas such as IT, business, languages, teaching/training, administration and secretarial skills. Each year more than three million students gain OCR qualifications, which are offered by 13,000 centres including schools, sixth-form colleges, further education colleges, training providers, voluntary organisations, local authorities and businesses ranging from SMEs to multinational organisations.
