This year's annual HMC Professional Development Conference for Academic Deputy Heads is taking place in November for staff from independent schools in the UK. While delegates are unable to come together in person this year, the online conference will include sessions focusing on issues around teaching, learning and assessment from the pandemic.
OCR's Director for Assessment Sylke Scheiner and Ian Harris, Assistant Director Marketing Communications for Cambridge Assessment International Education will be part of an expert panel to lead a debate focusing on current issues in qualifications and examinations. They will be joined by:
- Sharon Hague, Senior Vice President, Schools, Pearson UK
- Kevin Phillips, Director and Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive, AQA
- Richard Garrett, Director of Policy and Strategic Relationships for General Qualifications, Ofqual.
