The Sixth Form Colleges Association (SFCA) is hosting this annual Summer Conference, where key figures in education will share their insights, practitioners will showcase their initiatives, the annual awards winners will be announced and there’ll be opportunities for professional and social networking throughout both days.
On Thursday 13 June we look forward to hearing from Tim Oates, Group Director of our Assessment Research and Development Division, who’ll be taking part in a panel and plenary session titled “Does accountability have a role in raising standards?” alongside other notable speakers such as Ann Mroz (General Editor at TES), Richard Atkins (FE Commissioner), Paul Joyce (Ofsted) and Dominic Herrington (National Schools Commissioner). In addition to this, Tim will also be featuring as a keynote speaker on the topic “New assessment for a new curriculum” at 14.45 the same day.
