What do you think makes a good education?

This year's fringe events, taking place at Liberal Democrat, Labour and Conservative party conferences, will focus on the theme of "What do you think makes a good education?" They will provide an important opportunity to consider some of the issues at the very heart of education policy - including the role of vocational and academic routes and the make-up of the curriculum.

Panel members will include representatives from each of the three organisations, as well as political party spokespeople. Details for the fringe events are below:


Liberal Democrat Conference fringe event

Date: Monday 20 September, 12.45pm for 1.00pm - 2.00pm

Venue: Albert Room, Novotel, Liverpool


Labour Conference fringe event

Date: Monday 27 September 2010, 12.30pm - 2.00pm

Venue: Committee Room 2, Manchester Town Hall, Manchester


Conservative Conference fringe event

Date: Monday 4 October 2010, 12.30pm - 2.00pm

Venue: Executive Room 7, International Convention Centre, Birmingham
