Our UK based exam board, Oxford Cambridge and RSA (OCR) is hosting a free week-long Festival of A Level Mathematics from Monday 5 – Friday 9 June, to mark the changes in A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics specifications. Whether you teach OCR specifications or not, the festival will provide insightful information on OCR's new accredited specifications and how you will be supported through the linear changes.

The first four days of the festival are series of teacher focused webinars hosted by OCR and colleagues from Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI), Science Studio and Underground Mathematics  which will take place from Monday to Thursday.

The festival will conclude in a one-day conference on Friday, 9 June in London. The OCR Mathematics team and colleagues from MEI and Underground Mathematics will be available on the day to answer questions and give expert advice and guidance.

To assist with developments of A Level Further Mathematics modules, our Research Division carried out a study to investigate how students and lecturers perceive the current A Level Mathematics as preparation for degrees with a mathematical component. Read The Mathematics Needs of Higher Education and The Cambridge View on Mathematics, which can be found on the Insights section of our website to find out more.

You may also be interested to learn more about the research from OCR's sister organisation Cambridge Mathematics.
