Jill Duffy, Chief Executive of OCR, will deliver a keynote speech on the future role of Applied General qualifications within the post-16 qualifications landscape at this timely seminar.

It will be an opportunity for stakeholders and policymakers to discuss key themes emerging from the recently launched government consultation on the current framework of all existing vocational qualifications at 16-19, aimed at establishing which qualifications work best for learners.

It will also look at the qualifications needed by sectors which don’t have a T Level route (such as retail, sport and the performing arts) and will examine the current standards and quality of Applied General qualifications provision with Ofqual highlighting concern surrounding grade inflation in some ‘older style’ Applied General qualifications.

You can also find articles, information and research about Applied General qualifications on the Cambridge Assessment website here.

In addition, more information about the conference including the full agenda and how to register can be found on the Westminster Forum Project website
