Group Archive Services Privacy Policy

Cambridge Assessment Group Archives supports learning by providing a resource of information about the development of school exams and educational assessment. Our address is The Triangle Building, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge, CB2 8EA.

This Privacy Policy supplements the main Data Protection and Privacy Statement and specifically concerns personal data that is collected via our website, when you make an enquiry and/or use a service provided by us, in Group Archives.

When you contact us, the personal information we collect may include:

  • Identity data including your full name and title, date of birth and gender
  • Contact data including your home/work postal address, email address and phone number
  • Details of your enquiry and any paid service request(s) you make

By disclosing your personal information, you consent to its collection, storage and processing by us. In order to complete your enquiry, we may need to share details with other parts of Cambridge Assessment. Personal information, including copyright declaration forms, is securely stored for a maximum of seven years.

If you use your credit or debit card to pay for a service, this is done via a secure online payment system which complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Personal information disclosed by more extensive users of the Group Archives, such as visiting researchers and depositors, may be retained indefinitely as part of the management of the Group Archives. This information will not be shared with anyone outside of the Group Archives team but may be used to track the location and use of archival documents and to provide general anonymised statistical information for future collection management practices.

We may make changes to this policy and will let you know about these changes by displaying them on this website. Changes will begin to have effect at the time they are displayed. The version of the privacy policy that will apply to you is the one which is current at the time you use this website or use our services.
