The Prime Minister Boris Johnson said: “Now more than ever we should celebrate businesses who are driving our efforts to build a stronger, fairer, and more competitive economy.

“High-quality apprenticeships give people from all backgrounds and ages a real choice in life, providing them with the skills employers value, which our economy needs, and which lead to better paid jobs.

“These modern employers are at the heart of levelling up our workforce, and with the extra support we are providing will help the country build back better from coronavirus.”

Cambridge Assessment currently offers 10 apprenticeship standards ranging from Level 2 to Level 7. These include: Team Leading Level 2, Team Leader Level 3, Operations / Department Manager Level 5, Senior Leader MBA Level 7, Data Analyst Level 4, Data Scientist BSc Level 6, Data Scientist MSc Level 7, Hospitality Team Member Level 2, Maintenance and Operations Engineer Level 3, and Associate Project Manager Level 4. With four more planned to launch in early 2021, such as AI Data Specialist Level 7, Installation Electrician Level 3, HR Consultant and Partner Level 5, and Coaching Professional Level 5.

Former Associate Project Manager apprentice, Charlotte Gow, shares how she has benefited from apprenticeship learning: “The programme gave me a new level of confidence to apply things I already knew and to try the things I had learned. I am now better able to progress projects more independently. The different perspectives shared during workshops has increased my exposure and awareness thus giving me a chance to bring new ideas to my work at Cambridge Assessment.”

Ashley Ringger, Early Careers Coordinator at Cambridge Assessment said: “Being among the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers in the nation is an outstanding honour which demonstrates not only that Cambridge Assessment is a top employer of choice, but also our commitment to education. The apprenticeship levy has allowed us to develop employees and new hires in ways that maximise their ability to perform and ultimately deliver on the educational services we provide worldwide.”
